The Singapore Insurance Institute is a members’ institution for Professionals in Insurance and Financial Services. It is a non-profit organization governed by a Council comprising elected members and co-opted representatives from various sectors of the insurance and financial services industry. 

 SII's mission is to promote professionalism in insurance and financial services. Its objectives are to serve as the Institute for professional excellence in insurance and financial services; to promote professional standards and conduct in the insurance and financial services industries; to enhance the status of the insurance and financial practitioners and to further their interests, welfare and professional development; and to facilitate interactions, through social, cultural, sporting and educational activities within the local, as well as, exchanges with fellow international professional bodies.
